Dad was a Professor in Physical Education at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He passed away at 2.58am on 15 April 2007 in No 1 Hospital of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, at an age of 86. Dad has devoted his entire life to Chinese sports and Martial Arts. Under his influence and encouragement, I have also become a Martial Artist myself and studied Taichi from him. Through Martial Arts, I have not only gained fitness and discipline, but also wisdom and friendship. The common interest in the Martial Arts has brought me closer to dad with respect and love. His advices to me about life and work have always been insightful and wise therefore benefited me greatly throughout my life. Dad has physically left us, but his spirit will live forever. His Martial Arts will be always with me, and with his two grandsons Max and Alex who have also started training. His wisdom and knowledge will be passed on to our future generations.
Dad, we wish you rest in peace.
Xiaohua, Jianing, Max and Alex.
